Dr. Michael McDermott, aka Dr. Mike, has been practicing orthodontics for 15 years. Firstly, Bloomington is a vibrant place. One thing it excels in in the arts. Arts in the Parks includes not only musical performances from classical to 80s, but also offers everything from moonlight movies to exploding fireworks. All of the programs are completely free of charge and open to the public. 

In regards to family fun, The Bloomington Family Aquatic Center is open daily from early June through early September. Amenities include a zero-depth entry pool, interactive play features, aqua climbing wall, water slides, diving boards and newly renovated bathhouse.

Lastly, the family is important in the area. Once a year a famous game is played. Kids ages 8 and under are invited to come and hunt for 9,000 eggs scattered around the Normandale Lake Bandshell. The egg hunt is sponsored by the Bloomington Optimists Club.
