People often compliment me on my smile
Growing up my father would often share with me words of wisdom whenever I got stressed out. He asked me to imagine what life would be like a year from now or five years from now because usually, the situations I was worried about would not have an impact on me beyond the week, the day, or even the hour. As such, I learned from a very early age to not take life so seriously and enjoy all the beauty and wonders that life had to offer. An orthodontist can be part of that life vision we have for ourselves.
One’s smile is an integral part of that carpe diem philosophy
If friends and relatives were not born with that smile, orthodontics can be that solution to make one feel their best. One’s smile often impacts self-esteem and so discussing one’s needs with trusted professionals is a good plan of action. McDermott Orthodontics offers patients a plethora of options from braces to Invisalign.
What is the difference?
One is removable and one is not. One allows patients to eat hard foods while one does not. Invisalign has been reported as being more comfortable and less complicated than traditional braces, but McDermott Orthodontics helps customize your needs as a one-size-fits-all approach is definitely outdated. At McDermott Orthodontics, Dr. Mike is willing to talk with clients about their individual needs.
