Whiten Your Enamel
If your teeth are yellow, stained, or dull, your orthodontist can recommend some key changes in your diet. A whiter smile makes a person look young and healthy. It also makes a person feel more confident about his or her appearance.
Straighten Your Teeth
Teeth that are crooked, tilted, or uneven, or those that have not erupted properly from the gums may need help from an orthodontist. For example, an orthodontist can provide an evaluation of a patient’s dental condition along with an estimate of the recommended work to address the problems. X-rays, visual exams, and perhaps a dentist’s referral can help the orthodontist to complete a diagnosis and treatment plan.
Fill Gaps in the Gum Line
Missing teeth or those that are in the wrong positions can be moved to their correct location through an orthodontic treatment. An orthodontist can address problems like these. Professional treatment will help the teeth to line up correctly and evenly so that they look normal and become more functional.
