Words of Wisdom No. 7 – Stay Fresh

Stay Fresh
If you want to have fresh breath instead of having halitosis, then it is essential to brush your teeth after eating. Experts recommend brushing your teeth at least twice a day, but it is a good idea to perform oral hygiene more often. In addition to using a soft-bristled toothbrush to remove food debris and plaque from your teeth, make sure to have a specialized tongue scraper to get rid of additional bacteria. If your teeth are spaced too closely together, then it is time to visit an orthodontist for an examination to determine if you need to wear Invisalign aligners.
Keep Your Breath Fresh By Brushing Your Teeth
Clear plastic aligners are designed for repairing mild malocclusions of your teeth in less than a year. An orthodontist will use computer imaging software to create an assortment of aligners that will shift your teeth into the proper positions. You must wear each set of aligners for two weeks before switching to a new set. It is imperative to remove your aligners while consuming food, and after finishing a meal, you should brush your teeth immediately. This will keep your breath fresh, but in addition, you must use floss to clean your teeth.
