Practice Flossing with Your Eyes Shut
Prevent Cavities and Halitosis
If you practice flossing your teeth with your eyes shut, then it is easy to remove food debris in any location. When you are on an airplane, you can floss your teeth after consuming a meal. If you have a picnic at the park, then you can remove the food that is stuck between your teeth before stopping at the public library. After you brush your teeth, your mouth may seem clean, but there is a good chance that there is plaque stuck along the base of your teeth. By learning to floss your teeth without a mirror, you can prevent halitosis or cavities.
Learn How to Floss Your Teeth
When you start to wear braces to straighten your teeth, you must learn how to floss away food debris carefully to avoid breaking your wires or damaging your brackets. An orthodontist will show you how to floss your teeth, and you may need to watch DVDs to understand the process completely. Not only is it important for adults to floss their teeth at least once a day, but also, children should understand how to do this to prevent cavities.
